Sharadiya Navratri begins on the Pratipada date of the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. Navratri is a nine-day festival where nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped.

On the first day of Navratri, Maa Shailputri is worshipped, ensuring a perpetual supply of wealth and food grains.

On the second day of Navratri, the formc of Maa Brahmacharini is worshipped, promoting sacrifice, virtue, and restraint through meditation.

On the third day of Navratri, the Chandraghanta form of Goddess Durga is worshipped, offering freedom from sins.

On the fourth day of Navratri, the Kushmanda form is worshipped, offering blessings of fame, wealth, and long life.

On the fifth day of Navratri, the Skandamata form of Maa Durga is worshipped, offering relief from troubles and bringing happiness to life.

On the sixth day of Navratri, the Katyayani form of Maa Durga is worshipped, which brings positive energy and destroys enemies.

On the seventh day of Navratri, Maa Durga's Kalratri form is worshipped, offering freedom from sins and the destruction of enemies.

Mahagauri is worshipped on the eighth day of Navratri as she is believed to bring happiness and destroy sorrows.

On the ninth day of Navratri, Siddhidatri form is worshipped, who fulfils divine wishes. Lord Shiva, also known as Ardhanarishwar, is considered a form of Siddhidatri.
