Rishikesh Bajrang Setu is being constructed on river Ganga as an alternative to Laxmanjhula Setu in Uttarakhand.

Bajrang Setu Bridge will be the second cable suspension bridge in Asia and the first in the country.

The construction of this bridge will be completed in July 2023. The tower of the bridge will look like the Kedarnath temple.

As an alternative to Laxmanjhula bridge, 133 meter long and eight meter wide Bajrang Setu is being built.

Totally 133 meters long and eight meters wide, this bridge will be of three lanes and small four wheelers will be able to pass through this bridge.

There will be a double lane of 2.5 meters each for two-wheelers and four-wheelers in the middle of Bajrang Setu.

There will be a one and a half meter walkway on either side of the bridge. This walkway will be of glass, the thickness of this

glass will be 65mm, which is quite strong. Standing on it, you will be able to see the amazing view of the flowing water stream of Ganga from a height of

57 meters and you will be able to walk on it. The towers being built on either side of the Bajrang Setu will be about 27 meters high.
